What if my card is lost or stolen?
If your card has been lost or stolen, call 1-800-996-2638, TTY 1-800-659-5495. Outside the U.S., call 1-808-842-3100.
Are there annual fees with a Bank of the West credit card?
There are no annual fees with our Platinum or Cash Back Mastercards. There is a $25 annual fee with our Secured Card.
What credit cards do you offer?
We offer a Platinum Mastercard® with a competitive interest rate; a Cash Back Mastercard® with generous cash rewards and a Secured Mastercard for rebuilding or establishing credit. Visit Compare Credit Cards to learn more.
How do I apply for a credit card?
You can apply online for our Cash Back and Platinum Mastercards by going to Compare Credit Cards and clicking "Apply Now" next to the card you want. Alternatively you can apply by calling 1-866-269-2327, TTY 1-800-659-5495, Mon–Fri 7 am–5 pm PT. To apply for the Secured Credit Card, visit your local branch.
How long does it take to apply?

I have questions about my credit card. Is there a phone number I can call?
For questions about your credit card, call the number on the back of your card. If your card has been lost or stolen, call 1-800-996-2638, TTY 1-800-659-5495. Outside the U.S., call 1-808-842-3100.
How do I view my credit card transactions online?
- Visit www.bankofthewest.com.
- Enter your username and password and select Sign In.
- You'll see your credit card listed under Banking Overview. Select the credit card name (for example, "MASTERCARD STANDARD") to view your latest credit transactions.
I forgot my Username/Password. What should I do?
If you're an Online Banking customer and you've forgotten your username, call 1-800-488-2265, select option 3. Or visit Password Reset.
How do I enroll in paperless statements?
- Visit www.bankofthewest.com
- Enter your username and password and select Sign In.
- Select "Go paperless" from the home page.
- Select "online" next to your credit card account.
How do I pay my credit card bill online?
- Visit www.bankofthewest.com.
- Enter your username and password and select Sign In.
- You'll see your credit card listed under Banking Overview. Select the Pay Now link.
How can I get automatic text or email alerts when my bill is due?
- Visit www.bankofthewest.com.
- Enter your username and password and select Sign In.
- Select the Alerts tab and follow the instructions to set up alerts.
Is there a fee to receive alerts?
There's no Bank of the West fee to receive these alerts. However, your mobile carrier's text message and data usage fees and rates may apply.
What do I do if my credit card is lost or stolen?
To report your lost or stolen credit card, call 1-800-996-2638, TTY 1-800-659-5495. Outside the U.S., call 1-808-842-3100.
To notify us of any unauthorized or incorrect electronic funds transfers, including ATM or debit card transactions and electronic deposits, withdrawals and transfers, call 1-800-488-2265, TTY 1-800-659-5495.
