Branch Includes New Technologies; Design Tailored to the Customer Experience
Bank of the West today unveiled a redesign of the company’s main branch at 295 Bush Street in San Francisco, the Bank’s corporate headquarters. Located at the corner of Bush and Montgomery, the branch is designed to meet the vast needs of the community it serves by enabling customers to consult with multiple areas of the business as well as access to the Bank’s digital channels. Designed to reflect customers’ preferences in using digital channels for everyday transactions, the branch experience complements their needs to open accounts and receive guidance from knowledgeable bankers and wealth advisors in person.
“We are dedicated to the San Francisco community and excited to share this refreshed representation of our customer-centric approach to banking,” said Andy Harmening, Vice Chairman, Consumer Banking Group. “We have not only changed the physical design of the branch, but have shifted the dynamics of how bankers interact with customers through the use of technology and an open floor plan.”
The new facility will include:
- An installation of a new “media wall” video billboard with nine, 55” video screens for a full wall display visible from the busy sidewalks of Bush and Montgomery Streets showcasing digital content from across the bank;
- Interior and exterior ATMs and iPad kiosks that offer self-service options for customers to conduct transactions;
- Introduces new teller cash recyclers (TCRs), enabling branch team members to be more mobile and universal in servicing customers.
In addition to the redesigned lobby experience, customers can meet a variety of their banking needs all in one location. From wealth management, mortgage banking and business lending to international clientele support, a collaborative, consultative approach by the business provides customers with multiple experts in one place to meet their needs.
