San Francisco | Jun 10, 2015
For the second year in a row, Bank of the West has been named one of the "Best Bank Employers" by DiversityComm, Inc., publisher of Hispanic Network Magazine. This recognition honors organizations that incorporate diversity into their business practices and leverage that diversity to the benefit of their clients and customers.
"We are honored to receive this recognition," said Donald Duggan, head of banking services and diversity & inclusion council chair at Bank of the West. "Bank of the West believes that a workforce diverse in background, experience, thought and talent enables us to deliver better customer experiences."
DiversityComm, Inc. conducts this evaluation yearly in order to identify companies that are the "Best of the Best" in outreach to and accessibility for the Hispanic/Latino, African American and Female communities.
"The companies that make our Best of the Best list are committed to helping individuals realize a better future by providing an inclusive environment for employment," said Mona Lisa Faris, president and publisher of Hispanic Network Magazine. "Because of their efforts, Hispanic representation is on the rise in all areas of business, particularly in the STEM fields."
