San Francisco, CA | Mar 31, 2015

Bank of the West’s Retirement & Investment team today announced the addition of the Vanguard ETF Core Series to its Investment Advisory Solutions available to clients through its financial advisors.

“Our advisors provide a consultative, holistic approach to helping clients achieve their investment objectives and life goals, especially related to retirement,” said Dale Niemi, head of the Retirement & Investment team. “The addition of Vanguard to our offering provides additional choice for clients, particularly those seeking the advantages of ETFs within a strategic, globally-diversified investment strategy.”

“We selected Vanguard for its highly-regarded investment management expertise, trusted brand reputation, and low internal expenses for investors,” said Niemi. “The addition of Vanguard complements our existing lineup of investment advisory solutions and delivers on our commitment to providing clients with carefully selected investment choices for their specific situation and needs."

As part of its investment advisory offering, the Retirement & Investment team offers a targeted line-up of fund strategist portfolios (FSPs), including Bank of the West, Envestnet | PMC, and Russell Investments strategies, and more than 300 separately managed accounts (SMAs) through third-party asset managers.
