Bank of the West Strengthens its Retail Banking Group in Denver with Key Hires

Bank of the West announced today the appointment of several key executives who have joined the organization in its Retail Banking Group in Denver and the surrounding region.
Jeris Romeo – Vice President, Business Banking Officer
Romeo has been promoted to vice president, business banking officer, for the greater Denver area. In this role, Romeo will consult with small businesses and provide customized lending and treasury solutions to companies with $1 - $10 million in annual sales.
With more than seven years in the banking industry, Romeo has experience providing client solutions for operational needs such as cash and treasury management. Prior to this role, Romeo served as branch manager for Bank of the West working with small business, commercial, and wealth customers.
He earned a B.A. in Economics from University of Colorado Boulder. He currently resides in Denver.
Tige G. Stromire – Vice President, Senior Relationship Manager
Stromire joined the bank as vice president, senior relationship manager for the Metro Denver South Market. In his role, Stromire will manage a diverse portfolio of small to midsize businesses, with revenues ranging from $3 – $25 million annually.
Stromire has more than 10 years of experience as a business banking relationship manager with clients in diverse industries. He also provides client solutions for operational needs, such as cash and treasury management. Most recently he was vice president for Guaranty Bank and Trust serving small to mid-Size businesses in the south metro area. He holds a B.S. degree in Business from Mesa State College and currently resides in SE Aurora.
Nick Forss – Business Banking Officer
Forss joins the team as a business banking officer for the Rocky Mountain Region. In this role, Forss will manage relationships with businesses with $1 – $10 million in annual sales.
Forss has more than 11 years of experience in Private Banking, Commercial Real Estate Lending, and Business Banking. Most recently he was a business banking officer for Bank of The West in Newport Beach, CA serving small businesses.
He holds an M.S. in Real Estate and Constructions Management from University of Denver and a B.S. in Marketing and Finance from Arizona State University. Active with NAIOP, Forss participates with the National Down Syndrome Congress and Special Olympics and resides in Broomfield.
