Ryan Bailey

Ryan Bailey Executive Vice President and Head of the Retail Banking Group

Ryan Bailey is Executive Vice President and Head of the Retail Banking Group, comprised of over 5,000 team members, for Bank of the West.  In this role he leads the Bank's retail business across 19 states and all products and channels, overseeing all business areas that directly impact the retail client including Branch Network, Mortgage, Contact Center and Digital Channels.  In addition he leads Product and Payment Solutions, and Administration for the Consumer Bank.

Prior to joining Bank of the West, Bailey held senior roles at TD Bank in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, including Executive Vice President of Retail Deposits, Payments and Personal Lending, responsible for all retail deposit products, including checking, savings and money market accounts, term deposits, debit cards, stored value cards, and Unsecured Lines/Loans, Auto, Boat and RV.  In addition, Bailey managed the various legal, regulatory, and public policy aspects of the deposits and personal lending business.  He was also Executive Vice President and Head of Mortgage. 

Prior to joining TD Bank, Bailey was Senior Product Manager, Pricing, Deposit Strategy & Analytics at JP Morgan Chase where he was responsible for the development and management of pricing strategies for over $300 billion in retail deposit products.

From 2003 through 2006, Bailey served in several key Finance leadership roles at Bank of America, including managing the Deposit and Checking Fee Income Businesses.  Bailey also managed the corporate finance team supporting Card Operations and Student Banking

He has spent the last 16 years in the financial services industry.

Bailey holds an MBA from Western Michigan University.
