Dan Beck Chief Financial Officer

Dan Beck serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Bank of the West, a strong regional financial services company headquartered in San Francisco, California. Beck is also a member of the Bank’s Executive Management Committee. Bank of the West is a subsidiary of the BNP Paribas (BNPP) Group, a European leader in global banking and financial services and one of the strongest banks in the world.

Beck began his career in the banking industry with Deloitte & Touche, LLP. After assuming Corporate and Business Line finance roles with E*TRADE Financial Corporation, the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation and Wells Fargo Bank, Beck took the role as EVP & Corporate Controller at Bank of the West in 2008. In 2015 he was appointed as Chief Financial Officer where he oversees Bank of the West’s financial activities.

Since joining Bank of the West, Beck has been heavily involved in financial reporting activities in both US GAAP and IFRS, with extensive experience in managing financial activities and business decision making in an environment where both sets of accounting standards are adhered to.

Beck received his B.S. degree in Accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University.
