Save on fees by choosing the right account

Answer the following five questions and we'll recommend the account that's best for your business.

1. What's your expected balance?

With a higher monthly balance, you may be able to waive the monthly service charge on one of our premium accounts.

2. How many non-cash transactions do you expect to make per month?

Banks get charged per transaction (every deposit/withdrawal from your account). So with fewer transactions, we're able to pass our savings on to you.

3. What's the total amount of cash (paper currency or coins) you plan to deposit and withdraw in-person per month?

Business checking accounts all have a limit on how much physical cash a customer can deposit per month without being charged.

4. Will you have a balance in any other Bank of the West business account (e.g. Savings or Money Market account)?

With a higher combined balance in all of your business deposit accounts, you may be able to waive the monthly service charge of your checking account.

What is the expected combined monthly balance in all of your Bank of the West business deposit accounts (including the checking account you plan to open)?

5. Will you have either a Bank of the West Merchant Services account or a Bank of the West Business Credit Card linked to your checking account?

By having another Bank of the West business account, you may be able to waive the monthly service charge on one of our business checking accounts.
