To promote physical distancing, we encourage people to bank online and through our mobile app, including sending and receiving money electronically. For those receiving federal COVID-19 relief checks, we recommend using the Bank of the West mobile app to make a remote deposit. Below you’ll find helpful resources and guidance, including a mobile banking tutorial, information on our loan deferrals, and advice on investing in volatile times.

Help with your loans
If you are unable to make your loan payment due to being impacted by COVID-19, we may be able to help. For information on how to request help with any of your loans, please visit our payment assistance page.

We encourage you to use Online Banking to stay connected as we offer many online self-service tools. If you need additional assistance with your account, other than loan assistance, please call us at 800-488-2265 (TTY 800-659-5495). We would be happy to discuss your unique situation.

Temporary branch banking changes

Make an Appointment

To allow for social distancing, we ask that our customers book a 30 minute appointment with a banker prior to visiting a branch.

Branches with a drive-up window

The branch lobby will be open with controlled branch access, and the drive-up window will remain open to serve you.

Branches with no drive-up window

The branch lobby will remain open, though we will be limiting the number of customers in the branch at a time.

Our advisors are available to consult with you one-on-one with regards to the markets and your financial accounts with us. Whether you meet with your advisor in a branch or a Wealth Center, we ask that you schedule your meeting, as our wealth offices are currently closed for walk-in visits.

  1. Log into Online Banking on your desktop, choose “Service and Support” from the top navigation
  2. Under Account Services, click on “Manage account and security alerts”
  3. Choose “Set up alerts”
  4. Choose “Transaction” from the Alert Types
  5. Select the account you want the direct deposit to go to, choose “Direct Deposit” from Transaction Type, Set limit to greater than $1.00, select box for alert method
